PAINTING PROJECT GUIDE

What to include in your painting estimate request

You don’t need a color picked out or a complete plan before you contact a painter. A few practical details help us understand the work and arrange the next conversation.

Start with the address and the space

Tell us where the project is and whether you’re updating a home or a business. List the rooms or exterior areas you want painted. For cabinets, describe which cabinets and whether you want to keep the existing layout.

Show the surfaces that need attention

Photos can help explain worn areas, peeling finishes, damaged trim or the color you want to change. They start the conversation; a photograph alone does not establish the full preparation or final scope. Mention any repairs or concerns you already know about.

Share your timeline and access needs

Include a move-in date, event or business deadline if one matters. Let us know which areas need to stay usable and your preferred days or times for an estimate. Our team confirms appointments manually; sending a request does not reserve a time.

Ask what the work includes

Discuss preparation, surface protection, colors, finish, cleanup and the final walkthrough. Ask how changes to the scope will be handled and request the written warranty coverage and exclusions. Clear expectations help you compare proposals for the same work.
